This great wine from Chablis Grand Regnard is very expressive, the nose reveals notes of ripe fruit with white flesh and citrus fruits. The bouquet is intense and enhanced by aromas of white flowers and flint. At tasting, the attack is round and wide, while the texture is very creamy. Some lemon tips bring peps to this great Chablis, to a rather persistent and saline finish. This cuvée from Maison Regnard is a real favorite.

HISTORY OF REGNARD CHABLIS

Regnard was founded in 1860 by Zehir Régnard in the historic centre of the town of Chablis. It was bought by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette in 1984. This famous heir from a family of French bankers aims to perpetuate wine traditions and propose wines reflecting the specific terroir of the Maison Regnard. Also located in Beaune, Maison Regnard is located inside a mansion whose cellars date from the 18th century. Thus, we can see that Regnard has been involved in the production of great Burgundy wines for several centuries.

REGNARD AND ITS GREAT BURGUNDY WINES

With its involvement and ambition to produce great Regnard Chablis wines, the 7 Chablis Grands Crus are highlighted by the Maison Regnard. It also offers wines from the 5 best-known Premiers Crus, Chablis, Petit Chablis and wines from prestigious Burgundy appellations from Côtes de Nuits and Côtes de Beaune, such as Gevrey-Chambertin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Chambolle-Musigny or Meursault. The strength of Maison Regnard lies in the incredible quality and diversity of its wines.

CHABLIS GRAND REGNARD

Baron Patrick de Ladoucette created the Grand Regnard cuvée in 1992, which later became the emblem of the wine estate. Chablis Grand Regnard is presented in a collection bottle dating from the 18th century. This exceptional cuvée comes from the best plots of the property, vineyards of 30 years on average. The harvest is manual and the pressing is intended to be delicate in order to produce a Chablis Grand Regnard velvety, structured and ample in the mouth. Regnard gives another dimension to Chardonnay of Burgundy, especially with depth and minerality.
