Yvon Metras produces exceptional Fleurie wines with equally exceptional ageing potential. Any serious Gamay lover, or indeed any wine lover for that matter, simply must try a Metras at least once.

Yvon Métras also produces wines in the Beaujolais and Moulin à Vent appellations, but the hardest part is getting hold of these precious bottles as production is unfortunately low.

The Fleurie wines from Metras are delicate with silky red fruit notes. The palate is beautiful with perfect balance and great length!

This Fleurie Metras will still need a few years to reach its peak.

Care should be taken with storage as Metras uses no or very little sulphites in his wines.
