After Champagne Pol Roger Vintage Brut, you'll be seduced by this Vintage Blanc de Blancs. The nose begins with lemony, pastry-like aromas. After aeration, the wine becomes more complex, with notes of cocoa, mocha and butter. The palate reveals toasty, hazelnut aromas, as well as a beautiful richness. The perfect balance between power and finesse!

The domain

Founded in 1849, the Pol Roger Champagne House is now run by the fifth generation of the family, who oversee the 92 hectares of vineyards. Each generation has endeavoured to continue the work begun by their ancestors, maintaining the quality of Pol Roger champagnes and developing the family business. Winston Churchill, a great fan of this house since 1908, became a loyal customer. In 1944, at a dinner at the British Embassy in Paris, he met Odette Pol-Roger, granddaughter of Richard Wallace, sealing a lasting relationship between the Churchill and Pol Roger families. The house is renowned for the extended maturation of its champagnes in its Épernay cellars, which can last between 4 and 10 years. The Pol Roger style is particularly evident in the Brut Réserve cuvée, made from the region's three flagship grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The Pol Roger Blanc de Blancs Vintage comes from superb parcels of Chardonnay located in the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, including Oger, Cramant, Chouilly, Oiry and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
