This Pol Roger Vintage cuvée is made from 20 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus from the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions. A highly prestigious blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay!

Blending, bottling, bubbling and ageing all take place in the cool, 33-metre underground cellars of Maison Pol Roger. Riddling is still done by hand, and this is one of the last houses still to do so. The wines age for a minimum of 3 months before leaving the cellar.

The domain

Since it was founded in 1849, the Pol Roger Champagne House has been run by the fifth generation of the family, who are responsible for maintaining the 92 hectares of vines. With each generation, the company's heritage has been preserved and enriched, while continuing to produce Pol Roger champagnes. Winston Churchill, a great fan of the house since 1908, became a loyal customer. After meeting Odette Pol-Roger, Richard Wallace's granddaughter, in 1944 at the British Embassy in Paris, a friendship was forged between the Churchill and Pol Roger families. Pol Roger is renowned for ageing its wines in its historic cellars in Épernay for between 4 and 10 years. The house's unique style is reflected in the Brut Réserve cuvée, a blend of the three grape varieties typical of the region: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. This Pol Roger Vintage comes from 20 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus selected from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. It is an exceptional blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay!
