Champagne Ruinart Brut "R" by Ruinart has a bright and clear yellow robe with gold reflections. Steady effervescence and very present cordon. A first fine, fresh and fruity nose, full of white flesh fruits (pear, reinette apple), apricot, nuts and almonds notes. A few floral and spicy aromas bring a little more of complexity.

The domain

Ruinart is the world's oldest champagne house, founded in 1729 in Reims. It represents the quality and elegance of French Champagne wines. The house was founded by his nephew Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by Dom Ruinart Thierry, a visionary monk who seized the opportunity to produce and market sparkling wines at a time of rapid expansion. The exploitation of his chalk pits, former underground chalk quarries listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enables his wines to be aged in optimal conditions. Ruinart also takes an ecological approach, adopting environmentally-friendly viticultural methods. Ruinart's Cuvée R remains one of the world's most famous champagnes.
