Anne Gros, Burgundy winemaker, assisted by her husband Jean Paul Tollot, work 18 hectares at the border of Minervois and Saint Chinian.
When a renowned Burgundy winemaker, Anne Gros, helped by her husband Jean-Paul Tollot make the big difference with the terroirs languedocians and titilate Syrah, grenache and other carignan, this gives the Domaine Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot. A domain that advances the reputation of the Appellation. Attentive to the cultivation of the vine and the sensitivity of each variety, these two exceptional winegrowers brilliantly succeed in singular cuvées.
The Domaine is located in the Minervois and more precisely in the Causse. This wine-growing zone of the Minervois is mainly marked by its altitude which exceeds 200 m to reach almost 500 m. The result is lower night temperatures in Minervois and slower thermal warming in spring. There is more rainfall and more regular rainfall than all of Minervois.
Anne Gros and Jean Paul Tollot exploit 3 terroirs: Coast of brian, Minervois and Minervois Cazelles.
Since the first vintage in 2008, the range of wines is consistent, very careful, and Southern wines in aromas but not in mouth profiles. The wines very successful from the second vintage.
