Domaine de la Janasse, renowned house of Rhone Valley, was created in 1973 by Aimé Sabon. In the following years, the domaine extends from 15 to 55 hectares. In 1991, the children and grandchildren took over the management of the domaine. La Janasse counts today 70 hectares of vines spread on Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Rhône-Village and also Local Wine of Principauté d'Oragne appellations. There, syrahs and white vines are planted in sandy limestone soils exposed to the East-North to preserve freshness and late maturity of grapes. More than a domaine, a true reference.
