The domain

With around twenty vintages to its name, Domaine François Villard is now one of the pillars of the Northern Rhône Valley. Passionate about wine, François Villard, a former chef, took up winegrowing at the age of 20 and has never looked back. He makes a variety of wines, including Condrieu Villard, as well as Saint Joseph, Côte Rôtie and Saint Peray. His superb Cuvée Gallet Blanc in Côte Rôtie boasts delicate aromas of violet and raspberry, the typical spiciness of Syrah, and a remarkable texture on the palate.
