Grande Année 2014 is a blend of 19 crus (Aÿ and Verzenay for Pinot Noir; Chouilly and Oiry for Chardonnay).

A great vintage means a great Champagne: precision, freshness and complexity are the hallmarks of Bollinger's Grande Année.

Vinification takes place in wood, in old oak barrels, around 20 years old.

This Champagne Bollinger Grande Année has an exceptional nose, fruity and subtly saline. Aromas of quince, peach, mirabelle plum, cherry and lemon appear on the nose. After aeration, hazelnut, almond and bergamot reveal themselves.

The palate offers fine, intense bubbles, the balance between the vinosity of the Pinot Noir and the liveliness of the Chardonnay is perfect! The smooth, delicate texture is accompanied by notes of ripe yellow fruit and citrus. The intensity and complexity of this champagne are sublime.

The domain

The prestigious Maison Bollinger was founded in Aÿ in 1829 by the aristocrat Athanase de Villermont, who had an exceptional flair for Champagne wines. Initially known as Renaudin-Bollinger & Cie, this champagne house has survived the centuries under the management of the Bollinger family. Its 165 hectares of vineyards, 85% of which are classified as Grands Crus and Premiers Crus, enable it to produce most of its grapes.
