The famous cuvée Tête de Bélier, emblematic of the Chateau Puech Haut, was born on a clay-limestone soil and pebbles rolled by the Rhône. This gives it a certain generosity while having patinated tannins thanks to a vinification in barrels and half-muids, mainly for the Syrah.

The domain

The story of Puech Haut began a decade ago, when Gérard Bru, a visionary entrepreneur, realised his dream of founding one of the Languedoc's most iconic vineyards. His ambition was to express, through the wines of Château Puech Haut, the richness and uniqueness of the original terroir. The estate is also renowned for its many artistic collaborations, making art and creativity central to its identity. The famous Tête de Bélier cuvée, the emblem of Château Puech Haut, is rooted in a clay-limestone terroir dotted with pebbles rolled by the Rhône, offering great generosity and elegant tannins, refined by vinification in barrels and demi-muids, particularly for the Syrah.
