Château Puech Haut Tête de Bélier Red offers us the best of the Languedoc region with a deep nose, based on small black fruits and strong woody aromas. On the palate, generosity is required with notes of sweet spices, black fruits and toast. The tasting ends with a harmonious finish of the most beautiful effect.
The famous cuvée Tête de Bélier, emblematic of the Chateau Puech Haut, was born on a clay-limestone soil and pebbles rolled by the Rhône. This gives it a certain generosity while having patinated tannins thanks to a vinification in barrels and half-muids, mainly for the Syrah.

The domain
Chateau Puech Haut is located in Saint-Drézery, a small village between the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Cévennes. Currently, the Puech Haut vineyard covers 184 hectares of vineyards, on the Coteaux-du-Languedoc-Saint-Drézéry and Pic Saint-Loup appellations.
Puech Haut's success story started about ten years ago when Gérard Bru, an ambitious salesman, realized his dream of creating one of the flagship vineyards of Languedoc. After the purchase of its first plot, at the time covered with scrubland and olive trees, everything went very fast thanks to the precious advice of Michel Rolland between 1996 and 2006. Gérard Bru wished to transcribe in the wines of the Château Puech Haut the exceptional terroir on which they were born. Puech Haut is also well known for its collaboration with many artists, putting creativity and art at the center of its values.
Over the years, Chateau Puech Haut has forged a strong identity around its red wines. It offers however several ranges in the three colors of which the best known is Tête de Bélier, it is the emblem of Puech Haut and one of the essential cuvées of the region. The Puech Haut Prestige and Argali ranges have also made a place among the best price quality ratios in Languedoc. Puech Haut rosé, red and white wines all have an unparalleled drinkability as well as characteristic silky tannins. They are generally appreciated for their balance between power and fat.
