Domaine du Clos des Fées Vieilles Vignes white wine is a blend of very old white Grenache (up to 100 years old) for 90% and 10% Grenache gris. We can also speak of altitude terroir since going up to 400 m, the vines are oriented North-West which will give freshness to a fairly rich white.

The domain

The Clos des Fées estate was founded in 1998 by Hervé Bizeul and his wife Claudine. Originally a sommelier and food critic, Hervé Bizeul worked in a number of wine-related fields before becoming a winemaker. Today, the estate covers some thirty hectares, in the Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages and Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes appellations. Les Vieilles Vignes White offers a combination of strength and freshness thanks to its blend of very old Grenaches.
