The domain

Nestling at an altitude of over 1000 metres in Chavanay, Domaine du Monteillet magnificently dominates the Rhône Valley. Covering 38 hectares, including 17 in a single block, it boasts four prestigious appellations: Saint Joseph, Condrieu, Cornas and Côte Rôtie. Stéphane Montez has been at the helm of this family estate since 1997, bringing with him two years of international experience. The Cuvée du Papy, a true icon of the estate, comes from a rigorous selection of old vines in the Saint-Joseph appellation, and stands out as an exceptional cuvée.
