Château Sainte Roseline

Château Sainte Roseline is a must in Provence and has received several awards for its commitment to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in 2021: Sainte Roseline is labeled "Vignerons Engagés" by AFNOR and received a "coup de coeur" award at the CSR trophies.

BETWEEN HISTORY AND MODERNITY, THE RENEWAL OF SAINTE ROSELINE

Château Sainte Roseline has a prime location in Les Arcs-sur-Argens, its 160 hectares (110 of vineyards) are spread between Cannes and Saint-Tropez. Directed since 2007 by Aurélie Bertin-Teillaud, she brought to this family business a touch of femininity, as well as her know-how and her impulse. Indeed, the winegrower’s profession often remains traditional and tends to modernize both materially and in terms of strategy. The reputation of Chateau Ste Roseline also comes from the fact that it has been a Classified Growth in Côtes de Provence since 1955. This superb property has a 12th century cloister as well as an 11th century communal chapel, classified as a historical monument and which gave its name to one of the emblematic vintages of the château.

CHATEAU SAINTE ROSELINE FINALLY CERTIFIED ORGANIC

Committed for several years to a healthier and more sustainable viticulture, Château Sainte Roseline will finally complete its conversion to organic farming in August 2022 and its first organic vintage is scheduled for spring 2023. The clay-limestone soils of Chateau Sainte Roseline are preserved thanks to controlled grassing under the rows, and ecological corridors allow for the conservation of local fauna and flora. The estate is also very attentive to its use of water and electricity resources as well as its waste: heat recovery systems have been installed and fertilization and irrigation are very controlled. In short, all the conditions are met to produce great wines of Provence.

Chateau Ste Roseline produces estate wines, all in finesse and well balanced in the three colors. The proximity of the sea offers complexity that adds to the roundness and freshness of the terroir. Let’s discover together the two flagship cuvées: La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline is the top of the range wine of the château, a selection of the best parcels is made and a limited quantity of bottles is produced. It is described as "An exceptional cuvée harmoniously blending the aromatic richness and finesse of a Provence wine." Next, the Lampe de Méduse cuvée, its atypical and very recognizable bottle has made it the star of Château Sainte Roseline. Produced since the 1950s, it is the signature of the property. Other cuvées are also produced, some of them under the name Roseline: Roseline Prestige, Perle de Roseline, the sparkling Allégorie...
