Maison Henri & Gilles Buisson Bourgogne White brings together several expressions of Chardonnay, with the majority coming from young Saint-Romain vines complemented by fruit sourced in the Mâconnais. One year of ageing without racking in seasoned 228-litre barrels gently shapes the wine, preserving the balance between high-altitude freshness and the generosity of ripe Mâconnais fruit. Peach, pear and quince mingle with white flowers on a generous yet beautifully balanced palate, lifted by freshness and a subtle stony character.

The Bourgogne White expresses itself with generous notes of peach, pear, and quince, accompanied by delicate floral nuances. The fruit shows beautiful ripeness but retains a lot of crispness, without veering into an overly rich profile.

The palate is full-bodied and flavorful, with a texture that is more enveloping than one might expect from its regional appellation. This richness is balanced by lively acidity and a more stony, salty structure that lends the wine length. The finish thus retains plenty of freshness and gives this Chardonnay a particularly successful balance between richness and precision.
