Domaine
Peyrassol extends over 850 ha and is situated in the Massif of the Maures. Domaine Peyrassol and more exactly Commanderie de Peyrassol is a domaine full of history since the 13th century since it was created by the Order of the Templars. Alban Cacaret manages Domaine de Peyrassol, since 2003, with his uncle, Philippe Austruy, owner since 2001. They managed to make of Peyrassol one of the most famous vineyards of Provence.
Domaine de Peyrassol is nestled in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, at 330m altitude. Its clay-limestone soil is an ideal candidate for viticulture. The elaboration of the exceptional Château Peyrassol rosé, white and red wine passes the know-how and the constant maintenance of the plots. Planted 800 years ago, the first grape varieties allow the Peyrassol tradition to endure while using state-of-the-art equipment.
