Domaine Grand pre is a beautiful estate of about 20 hectares, well located and well influenced: the winds, the springs and the terroir. Nestled at the foot of the massif des Maures, on the terroir of Pierrefeu, in Puget-Ville. Domaine de Grandpré grows Mediterranean grape varieties.

DOMAINE DE GRANDPRE, THE PASSION OF A WOMAN

Domaine de Grand Pré was founded in 1957 by Valérie Vidal Revel, a farmer’s granddaughter. The passion of the vine was therefore passed on to her very early so that she decided to return to the sources with the work of the land on her vineyard at Domaine de Grand Pre. Valérie Vidal Revel likes to convey her love for the work well done, making wines of pleasure, sharing and conviviality. We quickly discover great potential and character in these wines of Grandpré located on the renowned terroir of Pierrefeu.

DOMAINE GRAND PRE AND ITS CULTURAL METHODS

Grandpré vineyard is cultivated in a traditional and reasoned way, with the next objective being to lead the vineyard into organic farming. Valérie Vidale Revel, passionate and in love with the vineyard, is very attached to the Grandpré terroir. It is also unusual since there is a warm microclimate and the vines benefit from the influence of winds, among others from the Barre de Cuers. The reputation of the Domaine de Grand Pré comes also from its old vines and Carignan, although the traditional Southern grape varieties are cultivated: Grenache, Syrah, Rolle, Mourvèdre and Cinsault.

WINES OF PROVENCE, GRANDPRE WINES

Domaine Grandpré produces several cuvées in appellation Côtes de Provence. First of all, the Favorite cuvée in all three colours, it is an elegant and tasty cuvée while the Minotaure rosé cuvée, derived from the old vineyards of the Grandpré vineyard, is rather balanced, supple and round in the mouth. Domaine de Grand Pré is a Domaine that produces wines of pleasure with an incredible quality ratio and that always seduces us year after year!
