The domain

Perched at an altitude of over 1000 metres in Chavanay, Domaine du Monteillet proudly overlooks the Rhône. It extends over 38 hectares, including 17 in a single block, and boasts four renowned appellations: Saint Joseph, Condrieu, Cornas and Côte Rôtie. Stéphane Montez took over the family estate in 1997 after two years' training abroad. His white wine, ‘Les Hauts du Monteillet’, has a generous character and irresistible charm.
