Shipping informations

Grande Réserve White boasts lovely fruity, liquorice and subtly woody notes. Its elegant, fragrant style will reveal itself even more after a few years in the cellar. In its youth, it is fresh and particularly well-suited to accompany seafood dishes.

The sommelier info

A delicious blend of Semillon and Rolle grapes, Domaine La Rouillère Grande Réserve offers a powerful, complex and well-balanced profile.

Its delicate nose of pear and nectarine gives way to hints of vanilla and hazelnut for a more mouth-watering finish. A well-integrated touch of wood enhances the whole. The palate is supple and full-bodied, with aromas of white flowers, honey and a certain elegance. The finish is underpinned by smoky, saline notes, as well as a lovely freshness that makes you salivate and invites you to continue with your meal.

After 6 months' ageing in French oak barrels, the cuvée has a lovely fatness that blends perfectly with the liveliness of the seaside terroir.

The domain

Domaine de La Rouillere covers almost 120 hectares, between the municipalities of Gassin and Ramatuelle, in the heart of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. Among these hilly lands of forests and rivers, the 45 hectares of the Rouillère are dedicated to the breeding of the vines with the utmost respect for traditions and reasoned agriculture.

LA ROUILLERE, BETWEEN TRADITION AND KNOW-HOW

Domaine La Rouillère created in 1900 takes its name “Rouillere” from the river that flows in the middle of the property. Bertrand and Magali Letartre, according to them, “awakened the beautiful sleep” by purchasing the Domaine de la Rouilère in 1998. A new era was then opened for the Rouillere and its new owners, since they soon established a terroir combining innovation and tradition. They still demonstrate know-how and authenticity in the preservation of the historical character of the vineyards La Rouillère and these iconic cuvées.

DOMAINE DE LA ROUILLERE, A STATE-OF-THE-ART CELLAR

Bertrand and Magali Letartre are keen to offer signed cuvées developed according to traditional methods thanks to their 1.700 m² of equipped cellar but also with state-of-the-art technology, of extreme cleanliness. This allows meticulous vinification and brings to the cuvées of the Domaine de la Rouillère of purity. These state-of-the-art oenological techniques combined with innovations in terms of production allow great wines to emerge in La Rouillere.
