With its blend dominated by Rolle and its particularly meticulous winemaking, La Jouvencelle offers much more than just a typical summer white wine. Its balance of body, freshness and minerality makes it a particularly appealing organic Coteaux Varois, whilst the magnum bottle lends it a convivial quality that is ideal for large, convivial gatherings.
The sommelier info
La Jouvencelle White offers a highly aromatic profile, blending floral notes, white fruits and exotic nuances. On the palate, it has more body than its immediate freshness would suggest: it is full-bodied, lively and persistent, with well-balanced acidity that keeps the whole in harmony.
The finish adds a particularly interesting dimension to the wine, with a subtle bitterness and a hint of saltiness. This tension prolongs the fruit and gives La Jouvencelle a character that is both rich and precise.
Composed of 70% Rolle, 20% Ugni Blanc and 10% Grenache Blanc, La Jouvencelle from Château des Annibals has a particularly appealing profile, being both full-bodied and invigorating. The magnum size is perfectly suited to this cuvée, making it a fine bottle to open when sharing a meal with a large group.

The domain
Chateau des Annibals was created in 1772. The wine estate is located in the heart of green Provence. Its 30-hectare vineyard extends west of Brignoles. Directed since 2001 by Nathalie Coquelle, she has made Annibals a small jewel.
Château des Annibals takes its name from the legend of Hannibal in reference to the strong and courageous winemakers, who have cultivated the castle’s lands for generations. According to legend, the Carthaginian conqueror passed on the lands of the Annibals, with his elephants, along the Via Aurélia on the way to try to conquer Rome. The stone clay-limestone terroir of the Domaine des Annibals as well as its exceptional sunshine on the hillsides facing the massif of the Loube, allow the vine to flourish fully there.
Chateau des Annibals wines are produced in the appellation Coteaux Varois and Wines de Pays du Var. The wine estate is famous for its Cuvées des Annibals in PGI Var. First of all, Suivez Moi Jeunne Homme Rosé is a fruity rosé of Provence with a nice roundness. La Jouvencelle Blanc, whose name is a nod to youth, is an elegant cuvée and shows a beautiful freshness. Finally, the Annibals Fesse Mathieux cuvée is fruity and crunchy in the mouth. Its name, synonymous with the word Avare, was chosen because this Red comes from vineyards of Syrah avares of grapes.
The small plots of the Domaine des Annibals are cultivated in organic farming with Ecocert certification since 2001. As such, no chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides are used at the Chateau des Annibals. The plots are also paved and plowed when necessary. Special care is given to the harvest of grapes, several tests are carried out beforehand to ensure their good maturity. The careful size makes it possible to obtain Annibals wines with aromas reflecting their terroir and a nice finesse.
