The cuvée Figuière Confidentielle Red is intense, its aromas of ripe cherries, liquorice and garrigue make us travel. The texture in mouth is supple and the touch is smooth. The liquorice and cherry aromas are always present with harmonious and elegant tannins. A very nice discovery with this Figuière Red Wine, we want some more!

Figuière Confidentielle Red is a blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre, harvested at the same time and then put in vatting together to create a perfect blend. This wine will then spend 10 to 14 months in oak barrels of 300L. So that, we obtain an excellent potential of ageing from 7 to 8 years for this fine red of Provence from Domaine Figuière.

The domain
Domaine Figuière, a family estate located in La Londe-les-Maures, boasts an impressive 125 acres of prime Côtes de Provence vineyards. This iconic Provence estate was purchased by the Combard family in 1992. The family has a long history of working the land as Burgundian wine growers and winemakers. Alain Combard, the owner of the property, has long seen the potential of his land by the sea. Then Alain taught his three children the family farming rituals he grew up with. The La Figuière vineyard has been farmed organically since the 1980s, and considerable work has been done to protect it from degradation since then, including the banning of chemical herbicides. The family has always strived to make wines that reflect their specific location. Other lines explore the multiple facets of the company, such as the Signature line, which focuses on simplicity and freshness, and the Premier line, which focuses more on dining and wine pairing. Finally, the Confidentielle line offers premium wines with exceptional depth and nuance. There is no doubt that the Cuvée Confidentielle is an essential and unmissable red wine.
