The domain
In order to ensure the long-term viability of the vineyard, Marcel Ott replanted all his land with Provençal crops in 1896. This land had been farmed for many years before the phylloxera epidemic, but the disease had destroyed it. Since 2009, Christian and Jean-François, cousins, have been working together to run Domaines Ott as a family business. While Château de Selle in Taradeau produces red, white and rosé wines, the Clos Mireille vineyard in La Londe produces rosé and the famous Blanc de Blancs. These two vineyards are considered to be part of the Côtes de Provence. Finally, Château Romassan is a vineyard in Bandol that produces red and rosé Bandol wines. However, only these three estates are used to create the company’s flagship drink, Coeur de Grain Rosé. These wines reflect Domaine Ott’s commitment to preserving the health of the soil and plants, as no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used in the vineyards. In addition, the By Ott line is light, fruity and festive, making it appropriate for any situation. Enjoy a fantastic sip with this Magnum of Château de Selle Rosé.
