The domain

Between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, in the commune of La Motte, is the Château d’Esclans, a 270-hectare estate (including 45 hectares of vineyards). Go back to the Gallic era and discover the rich history of this vineyard. It was in a privileged position to observe the enemy’s activity before the attack on the Gulf of Frejus. The current castle was built in the 19th century and sold in 1875; the property has had several different owners over the years. At the time, it was referred to as "Terre d’Esclans". When Sacha Lichine bought it in 2006, he continued to operate it until Moet Hennessy bought it in 2019. Sacha Lichine has top-of-the-line equipment and a team of experts to help him make luxurious rosé wines, just like the great white wines that age for years in oak barrels. For example, renowned oenologist Patrick Léon has been involved in the development of Château d’Esclans, Les Clans and Garrus wines. In addition, Esclans attributes its worldwide fame to the creation of Garrus, the most expensive rosé wine ever produced (at least when it was released). Esclans’ Rock Angel and Whispering Angel rosés are legendary in their native Provence. Garrus de Provence rosé, to be enjoyed immediately upon opening, is a benchmark of quality and distinction.
