The domain

Part of the 170 hectares of vineyards owned by Château Sainte Marguerite in La Londe-les-Maures, Provence, overlooks the water. Although the area has been cultivated since ancient times, the estate itself was created in 1929 by a concert pianist named André Chevillon. The Fayard family, who have lived there since they bought it in 1977, have a deep connection to their home. Pernod Ricard is very involved in the life of this company with a major purchase of shares in 2021, so major restructuring has taken place within the estate. Since 2000, Domaine Sainte Marguerite is certified organic, and since 2015, it is also certified vegan. Not only was it one of the first wineries to do so, but it also pledged that its bottles contained no animal products.
