The domain
Château Sainte Marguerite extends over some 170 hectares of vineyards facing the sea, at La Londe-les-Maures in Provence. Although the estate's land has been cultivated since ancient times, it was in 1929 that André Chevillon, a concert pianist, founded the estate. In 1977, the Fayard family, attached to the estate, acquired it. Since 2000, the estate has been certified organic and, in 2015, it was certified vegan. Since 2021, Pernod Ricard has undertaken a number of initiatives and investments, in particular to guarantee wines without animal inputs. Thanks to the Fayards' meticulous attention to detail, Château Sainte Marguerite has been awarded the complementary Côtes-de-Provence La Londe appellation, which highlights the richness of its terroir with four different soil types, contributing to the exceptional quality of the wines. The estate offers two major cuvées: Symphonie for the trade and Fantastique, as well as the new top-of-the-range cuvée Collection Marguerites for the estate. While the rosés have conquered the region, the white and red wines have also distinguished themselves. Discover Marguerites Rosé, a complex and elegant rosé wine.
