Inspiration White is a wine that is racked to stainless steel tanks on its fine lines, which will also be preserved for aging. One of the strong points of Gavaisson is the fact of tasting and re-tasting its blends until they bring complete satisfaction to the team. A 6-month aging in bottle is also practiced before the release of this cuvée.

The domain

Domaine de Gavaisson, located in Lorgues in the Var, owes its name to the Greek words ‘guè’ (land) and ‘baisson’ (arrived), meaning ‘arrival in the promised land’. Established some twenty years ago, this enchanting place is renowned for its great Côtes de Provence terroir white wines. Gerda Than was seduced by this unspoilt setting in the 1990s and became the owner. Together with Emmanuel Geler, she set herself apart by devoting herself exclusively to the production of white wines. The 4 hectares of vines, planted with Semillon and Rolle, produce round, expressive wines with notes of pear and citrus fruit. Organically and biodynamically farmed, the estate uses stainless steel vats, new oak barrels and an ovoid cement vat to vinify its wines. Among the cuvées, Inspiration stands out for its balance between freshness and roundness, while Emotion impresses with its complexity and intensity, promising a fine evolution over time.
