Pétra rosé is an intensely fruity wine, with heady notes of red fruit, violets and vine peaches. A hint of herbaceousness and a light minerality give this rosé from the Alpilles its pep. Fresh and delicious, it has a fluid texture and is a real invitation to eat without being too structured.

Domaine Hauvette produces this cuvée Pétra using a direct pressing method.

It is matured for around 1 year on its lees in concrete eggs. The impact of the clay-limestone terroir is also clearly evident in this lively, slightly mineral cuvée. Pétra is of course made according to biodynamic principles.

The domain

Established in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence since 1988, discreet winemaker Dominique Hauvette cultivates 16 hectares divided between the Les Baux-de-Provence and Vin de Pays des Alpilles appellations. In 2020, she achieved a major milestone when she was named best winemaker of the year by the Revue des Vins de France. Her rosé Pétra, both fresh and gourmand, seduces with its fluid texture, evoking an invitation to the table while remaining light and somewhat structured.
