The domain
The grandfather of the current owners, the Matton brothers, bought Château Minuty in 1936. Gabriel Farnet was the original owner, but the estate is currently managed by Anne-Victoire Matton (4th generation) who assists her uncle and father. LVMH acquired Minuty in 2023. The estate's 170 hectares currently cover the high-altitude hillsides of Ramatuelle and Gassin. To consolidate the estate's strong reputation, Gabriel Farnet planted new plots and built a new winery, enabling his estate to be classified as one of the 23 favourite "Cru Classé des Côtes-de-Provence" in 1955. To modernise the wines on offer, traditional grape varieties such as Grenache and Rolle replaced Carignan and Ugni Blanc. However, the vineyard has built its reputation on its rosé wines made from Grenache, nicknamed the 'king of rosés'. The M and Prestige ranges are offered by Minuty SA, Château Minuty's leading partner. The famous Gold and 281 ranges are also included.
