The origins of Domaine Tempier date back to the reign of Louis XV. Domaine Tempier, before belonging to the Peyraud family, had been the property of the Tempier family since 1834 and obtained its first gold medal in 1885. Lucien Peyraud, "the precursor of the Mourvèdre" will be managing Tempier from 1941 to 1982. He was succeeded by his two sons, François and Jean-Marie, and then by Daniel Ravier, now director of the Domaine. Domaine de Tempier is one of the few domains to have retained all its authenticity. The Domaine has been working in Biodynamics since 2013.
The wines of Bandol Tempier are produced in rosé, white and red. In red Bandol, we find 4 vintages all in power, elegance and finesse with each their specificities: Cuvée Domaine Tempier la Tourtine, Cuvée La Migoua, Cuvée Cabassaou and Cuvée Tempier Bandol Red Classique. The Tempier rose, meanwhile, combines complexity, structure and freshness. The White Tempier shows a beautiful complexity and an unparalleled freshness, perfect for the summer.
